Lytham Candles was launched in November 2017 by founder Emma Cox. Emma is originally from Kirkham, Lancashire and married Lytham accountant, Simon Cox, in 2001. They have 5 children between the ages of 3 and 16. Emma decided to start her own business after having her 5^th child and wanted to make candles that the people of Lytham would be proud of. “I wanted to learn how to become a chandler, rather than buying already made. I spent 3 solid months, researching and testing various forms and methods. I have now created my perfect recipe. I take pride in the appearance of the brand and want to give customers a great retail experience that they are happy with, and happy to re-order.”

As well as having her own brand of local candles, Emma has also made bespoke candles for weddings, corporate events, parties and recently has created a range for Blackpool Pleasure Beach which is sold in all their gift shops and on their website.
