WINTER IN GRASMERE

William Wordsworth called Grasmere "the loveliest spot that man hath ever found". This historical village sits at the foot of some of the most remarkable fells in The Lake District. With its own lake which is perfectly quiet for swimmers and rowers, the island in the middle of the lake was known to be Wordsworths' favourite destination. A trip to Grasmere can only be topped off with a sample of the famous Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Gingerbread.

Important Directions: 

When you light the candle for the first time, let it burn for at least 2 hours so that the top layer has burnt to the outer edges, this will ensure an even burn. It is recommended to not burn the candle for more than 4 hours. Place the candle on a level, heat resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unsupervised. Use the candle at your own risk. Always keep candle out of reach of children and pets.
